BIO
I am an expert in the nutritional content and marketing of infant and toddler foods, as well as retail food environments for young children. My program of research focuses on the connections between food policy and regulation and retail food environments and related influences. I have my PhD in Public Health Nutrition (2024), a Masters in Human Nutrition and Graduate Certificate of Public Health Nutrition, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and Learning. I currently teach into a first year foundational nutrition unit - HSN101, a second year food and nutrition promotion unit - HSN210 and a postgraduate placement unit - HSN741. I am passionate about graduate employability and ensuring students enjoy an authentic and relevant education experience.
I am currently a member of IPAN, and co-run the Infant and Toddler Foods Research Alliance
