MsEmma Bennett

I have been employed as an academic at Deakin University since 2010. I am an enthusiastic  and cross-disciplinary educator in public relations and communication, with keen interest in developing learning and practical opportunities for students to develop their written and verbal communication skills.

I have diverse experience in a range of public relations roles with particular expertise in social media, community engagement, internal communications, copywriting and research, specialising in social media and online community-building for not-for-profits. Experience in media liaison, community engagement and professional writing in government and not-for-profit sectors.

In addition to academia and communication, I am an accomplished writer with a background in copywriting across a range of mediums, including textbooks, web, blogs, social media, newsletters, government reports and policy documents.
