Dr. Shayoli Sarkar

My area of research is currently focused on the long-term outcomes after an episode of Acute kidney Injury: the AKI-LOS study. My work examines the development of chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular risks, and patient-reported experiences to improve post-discharge care. With a background in public health and community health, I am committed to enhancing multidisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and evidence-based practices to improve kidney health outcomes, particularly in low- and middle-income settings.
