MrSuyog Khanal

Hi, I'm Suyog Khanal - - a PhD researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Deakin Applied AI  in Geelong, Australia.

Originally from Nepal, I'm passionate about building intelligent systems that can perceive, reason, and act in the real world.

My research sits at the intersection of Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Imitation Learning, and Robotic Manipulation. I work on enabling robots to learn complex behaviours from demonstrations. My goal is to bridge the gap between powerful language-vision representations and physically grounded robotic systems capable of operating in unstructured environments.



Beyond the lab, I enjoy breaking down complex AI concepts into digestible content by creating educational reels and videos to make machine learning more accessible to everyone. When I'm not coding or reading papers, you'll find me following cricket and football.
