BIO
Liana Pace is a PhD Candidate in Nutrition Sciences. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science/Nutrition Science, followed by an Honours in Nutrition Science (H1). Her Honours research focussed on Epidemiological analysis of the UK Biobank, focussing on association between the ratio of animal-to-plant based protein and cardiometabolic health outcomes in older adults. This was completed under the supervision of Associate Professor Catherine Milte and Associate Professor Micheal Tieland.
Liana is continuing her research into dietary protein and health outcomes in older adults throughout her PhD. As part of the Plants4Age team Liana is conducting epidemiological studies and a clinial trial investigating differing dietary protein exposures effects and associations with cardiometabolic and muscle health in older adults.
