BIO

I am a PhD candidate at Deakin University’s Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN), focusing on maternal nutrition among South Asian-born pregnant women in Australia. My research explores how women access and use nutrition information from healthcare providers, family, and online sources. It also examines how cultural and social factors shape these behaviours. A key component of my work involves evaluating the credibility of these sources to identify gaps in accuracy and cultural relevance.
