BIO

I am a PhD student focused on developing novel deep learning methods for Medical time series sensor data classification, with a strong emphasis on real-world applications. My research is supported by Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (DUPRS). This PhD research addresses the challenge of medical data effectively with vast amounts of EEG-ECG, ICU data from heterogeneous sensors, many of which lack accurate decision making which can help the doctors and patients. Beyond my PhD research, I have significant experience working with medical imaging data, including Skin Dermatology and Cardio X-Ray images, where I have applied computer vision and deep learning techniques for automated disease diagnosis. My work in this domain has contributed to advancements in early detection methods for diseases like skin cancer and cardio abnormalities. In addition to my academic pursuits, I was an active leader in the Health Informatics Research Lab (HIRL) at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. As a Research Coordinator, I have mentored and taught students from the university about emerging research ideas, techniques through seminars, workshops, educational content and peer mentoring. I developed basic python and Deep learning for Medical Image Analysis course for in the HIRL Lab for Student development in DL Research. I have academic teaching experience as a Lecturer at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, where I taught around 15 different courses like AI/ML, algorithm, Data Structure, Networking Programming and Problem Solving etc. I also bring industry experience as Data Science-Intern and Market Research Analyst where I worked with AI/ML pipeline and research market trend and competitors for company sales. My diverse expertise bridges academia, industry, and community leadership, reflecting my passion for impactful research and knowledge sharing.
