BIO

Mochamad Chairul Ihsan is a Doctoral Researcher within the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University. Backed by an MBA from Ajou University (South Korea) and a background as a Lecturer and Applied Researcher at Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), his work bridges international business strategy, emerging market dynamics, and enterprise development.

 

His PhD research investigates how Indonesian Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) navigate risk, ambiguity, and cross-cultural uncertainty during internationalization. Applying stakeholder theory and a paradox lens, his research aims to build actionable frameworks that empower community-driven enterprises in emerging economies to succeed in global trade.
