BIO

Prateek Bhattacharya is a Lecturer at Deakin Law School. His research and teaching interests include competition law, consumer law, contract law, international economic law, and corporate regulation. He completed his PhD from the Faculty of Law, Monash University where his research focused on competitive neutrality of state-owned enterprises in India from the perspective of the telecommunications sector. Prateek's current research focuses on consumer and contract law in the the digital space. 

 

Prateek has previously worked in India as a Senior Associate, Competition Law at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. and as an Associate Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University where he taught units on competition law and corporate regulation. He graduated with an LL.M. degree from the Europa-Institut, Saarland University and a B.A.,LL.B. degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur.
