BIO

Professor Eva Kyndt is Professor of Management at Deakin Business School. She specialises in workforce capability and applied research on how organisations prepare for rapidly changing skill demands. Her work focuses on generating robust, decision-ready evidence for governments, regulators, and industry partners through large-scale applied research programs and complex stakeholder collaborations.

Eva has extensive experience designing and leading projects that combine academic rigour with practical delivery, with a focus on organisational learning, workforce development, and the future of work. Her research applies mixed-methods approaches—including large-scale surveys, administrative data analysis, and stakeholder-based evaluations—to inform policy and practice in dynamic labour market contexts.

She is a Chief Investigator, Stream Lead for Future-Ready Workforce, Node Lead, and member of the Executive Team within the ARC Centre of Excellence for Quality Work in a Digital Age (www.qwida.org.au). In this national leadership role, she contributes to a coordinated research agenda focused on enabling high-quality, human-centred work as digital technologies reshape jobs, skills, and organisations.

Eva is recognised internationally for her contributions to research at the intersection of learning, work, and digital transformation, and is ranked among the Stanford University Top 2% most-cited scientists in Education and Business.
