I have been a member of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) Research Advisory Committee (RAC) since 2026. ALIA is the national organisation for the Australian library and information services sector.
The ALIA RAC advises the ALIA Board of Directors on all aspects of library and information science (LIS) research theory, policy, and practice. The RAC is dedicated to supporting the development of researcher capacity and capabilities within the LIS sector, providing ALIA Members with access to research-related information, resources, and support. The Committee promotes the development of research activities for ALIA, including conference workshops, connecting LIS researchers with practitioners, and administering the ALIA Research Grant Award.
