BIO

Matthew Crane is a qualitative researcher and phenomenologist, specialising in organisational behaviour within religious institutions.  A PhD candidate at Federation University, his research uses descriptive phenomenology to explore the lived experience of upwards bullying among Anglican clergy in Australia. 

 

As an academic, researcher, and educator, Matthew currently serves as a Lecturer in the School of Health & Social Development at Deakin University. He is a member of the Committee of Management of the Australian and New Zealand Social Work & Welfare Education & Research (ANZSWWER) and an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Theology at Yarra Theological Union, the University of Divinity, Melbourne.
