Aijaz is a Joint PhD research scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Deakin University, specializing in Concrete Pavements and Pavement Materials. His research focuses on Internal Curing of paving concrete using various IC agents, with an emphasis on improving durability, reducing water consumption, and promoting circular economy principles in infrastructure. His broader interests include the utilization of C&D waste in paving concrete, recycled concrete aggregates, pavement engineering, and developing practical, research-driven solutions for sustainable concrete pavements.
