BIO

I studied Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management (MESPOM) through the prestigious European Union Erasmus Mundus program, completing my Master's degree at the Central European University in Austria. There, I developed interdisciplinary expertise in environmental sciences and policy research and began exploring how climate change, migration and human health interact. My Master's thesis investigates how farmers, with and without migration experience in their household, conceptualize climate change in Pakistan. My thesis was awarded the prize for the best thesis on the Politics of the Anthropocene at Central European University. Over the years, I have published several articles in international peer-reviewed journals, including Discover Sustainability, Women’s Health, Frontiers in Climate, and Journal of Climate Anxiety Disorders.

At the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Deakin University, I aim to examine how people in climate-vulnerable regions imagine their futures. My research examines how gender, class, and faith shape these imaginaries. My doctoral research relies on field data from Southern Punjab, Pakistan.
