Nowshad Hasan

Nowshad Hasan is a Graduate Researcher and Ph.D. candidate in Information Technology at the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. His research focuses on developing secure and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) systems, with a particular interest in deep neural network watermarking, continual learning, computer vision, and machine learning.

He completed his M.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, graduating first in his class. He also earned his B.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh.

Before joining Deakin University, Nowshad worked as a Research Assistant at CUET, where he conducted research on lightweight deep learning models for satellite image segmentation. His research experience includes computer vision, remote sensing, deep learning, machine learning, image processing, and medical image analysis.

Nowshad has published several research papers in international journals and IEEE conferences. His current research interests include trustworthy AI, deep neural network watermarking, continual learning, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, AI security, and remote sensing image analysis. He is passionate about developing AI technologies that are reliable, secure, and suitable for real-world applications.
