MrDaniel Gregg

Daniel Gregg is a PhD candidate in Criminology at Deakin University, supervised by Professor David Bright and Professor Chad Whelan.

His research examines behavioural screening in firearms club membership decisions, and whether structured assessment can identify risk indicators that licensing processes do not capture. This research draws on a screening framework that has been in operational use in NSW clubs for over a decade.

Daniel's broader research interests include risk assessment, regulatory frameworks, and violence prevention. He has over 10 years of practice as a Psychologist working across the nexus of mental health, forensic assessments and care.
