MrDaniel Gregg

Daniel Gregg is a PhD candidate, supervised by Professor David Bright and Callum Jones.

His research examines behavioural screening in firearms club membership decisions, and whether structured assessment can identify risk indicators that licensing processes do not capture. This research draws on a screening framework that has been in operational use in NSW clubs for over a decade.

Daniel's broader research interests include targeted violence, violent extremism and countering violent extremism (CVE), sexual offending, and risk assessment in firearms regulation. He has around 14 years of practice as a psychologist. His clinical work involves identification, assessment and treatment of people who have committed or threatened serious violence, including sexual and extremist offending.
