BIO
I am a dedicated health economic research fellow. My journey in health economics has been driven by a passion for improving healthcare systems and policies through rigorous economic analysis and research.
At Deakin, I focus on evaluating the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of healthcare interventions, aiming to inform policy decisions and practices that enhance the efficiency and equity of healthcare delivery. My research interests span various topics, including economic evaluations of public health programs, health technology assessments, economic modelling, and outcome measurement.
My key projects involve assessing the value for money of interventions for oral diseases, disabilities, and chronic conditions in Australia. By understanding the economic impact of these conditions, I aim to support the development of strategies that can alleviate the resource constraint in the healthcare system. Through my work, I have opportunities to work with various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organisations, and industry partners, to translate research findings into practical solutions. This collaborative approach ensures that my research has a real-world impact, ultimately leading to better health outcomes.
I also involve in teaching and mentoring students, sharing my expertise in health economics, and fostering the next generation of researchers. My passion is to inspire students to explore the field of health economics and contribute to the improvement of healthcare systems worldwide.
I am always eager to connect with fellow researchers, policymakers, and practitioners who share my commitment to advancing health economics. If you are interested in my work and would like to discuss potential collaborations, please feel free to reach out.
