RESEARCH INTERESTS

While considering the educational implications and ramifications of Alexander Technique to be my priority research impulse, there are many other areas that I engage with and draw on. These include curriculum inquiry; post-qualitative research methodologies; the philosophies, sociologies, and histories of education; the future of the University; the cultural politics and ethics of education; psychoanalysis; health and wellbeing; spirituality, theology and religion; the importance of various theories and discourses including feminist, critical, decolonial, Marxist, new materialist, post-humanist, aesthetics, affect, and policy studies.
