DrHa Vu

Dr. Ha Vu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Deakin Business School, Deakin University. Her research focuses on Australian social, tax, transportation, labour market, and retirement income policies, with a strong emphasis on policy-relevant empirical research using large-scale administrative data. She has published in leading international economics journals, including the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Labor Economics, and the The Economic Journal.

Dr. Vu has secured competitive Australian Research Council (ARC) funding and has collaborated extensively with government agencies and industry partners on projects relating to taxation, retirement savings, transport policy, and financial wellbeing. Her current research examines retirement income policy, superannuation, household financial behaviour, transport transitions, and the distributional impacts of tax and welfare systems in Australia. Dr. Vu completed her PhD in Economics at The University of Melbourne in 2010.
