RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research adopts cutting-edge neuroimaging techniques to better understand brain and cognitive development in children with ADHD. I use higher order diffusion modelling and resting-state magnetic resonance imaging to: (1) identify neurodevelopmental markers of cognitive and motor development in ADHD and (2) investigate the neurobiological mechanisms through which physical activity affects cognitive and motor development in ADHD. This research aims to inform the design and validation of targeted and effective interventions for children with ADHD.
