BIO

My research focus spans the fields of conservation biology, landscape ecology, coastal ecology and behavioural ecology with particular interests in trophic dynamics, invasive species management and threatened species recovery. My research aims to bring these fields together to develop more holistic styles of management and to better utilise ecosystem resilience in conservation actions.

My teaching has spanned many units and is focused on bringing the real world into the classroom to assist students in understanding and tackling the worlds greatest ecological challenges. I am heavily involved in Work-Integrated Learning and Field-based experiential learning, providing students with invaluable, employment ready experience.
