TEACHING EXPERTISE

Valerie Watchorn is a Senior Lecturer and Course Director in the Occupational Therapy program within the School of Health and Social Development at Deakin University. Valerie prioritises the use of authentic learning and assessment experiences and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Valerie seeks to create supportive learning environments where students can learn collaboratively with educational staff, clinicians, peers and people who have lived experience of using occupational therapy services. Through research, Valerie also works to advance the scholarship of learning across these areas.
