BIO
Professor Aaron Russell leads a research group within the Institute for
Physical Activity and Nutrition Research (IPAN) that is focused on
understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate skeletal muscle, with a
particular interest in the areas of motor neuron disease and muscular
dystrophy. He presently supervises 5 PhD students and mentors 1 Research
Fellows.
