DrJohn Cripps Clark

​John Cripps Clark researches teachers professional learning in Science and Technologies. His research has informed and been informed by a series of programs of professional development for teachers of Design & Technologies, Physics and high ability students that he has developed and run over the past decade and funded by Department of Education. My research is collaborative with teachers, teacher professional associations, Tech Schools, and colleagues in Schools of Education, Engineering, Information Technology, and Nursing and Midwifery. He has been working in Cultural-Historical and Activity Theories for the past quarter century and is a regional representative on executive the International Society for Cultural-historical Activity Research and serves on the VicPhysics committee.

Family Science Games Nights

I founded, using a grant from National Science Week, and have collaborated with my colleagues and students for the last dec to run evenings on each of our campuses where families are invited to play science board games.
