RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research focuses on developing artificial intelligence and advanced signal processing methods to address key challenges in digital healthcare, particularly the reliable interpretation of physiological signals in real-world settings. I investigate how wearable devices and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) can enable continuous, non-invasive monitoring while addressing issues of signal quality and noise. A central problem in my work is modelling the irregularity and complexity of biological systems using time series and nonlinear analysis. Through health informatics and machine learning, I aim to develop robust, scalable solutions for early diagnosis, risk prediction, and personalised healthcare.
Specific research interest areas are:
- Applied Artificial Intelligence
- Internet of Medical Things
- Wearable Devices
- Signal Quality Analysis
- Time Series Analysis
- Nonlinear Signal Processing
- Irregularity & Complexity
- Health Informatics
- Modeling of physiological systems
