RESEARCH INTERESTS

Generative AI: I lead strategic initiatives in teaching and learning in the context of generative AI. My focus is on capacity building, course-wide assessment reform and the shaping of frameworks for critical AI literacies. In this capacity, I work collaboratively with educators, and develop resources to support change across disciplines and operations.

Teaching Practice: I lead research, capacity building and strategic approaches to teaching and learning activities. I am lead researcher in an ethics approved project that seeks to better understand the role of the lecture in contemporary higher education. I am also a specialist in identifying and teaching threshold concepts, supporting educators to help students navigate and master troublesome knowledge.

Inclusivity: As a neurodiverse academic, I am particularly invested in building inclusive educational experiences for diverse cohorts. I am a passionate ally of Indigenous Peoples and strive towards growing my own understanding of person, place and positionality in respect of Traditional Owners. I have a special interest in exploring new and innovative approaches to learning that enable human flourishing for all.
