BIO

Dr. Junny Ebenhaezer is a capability development strategist with proven competencies and extensive experiences that integrate education management, pedagogy and internationalisation. Her work with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds in Australia and Asia includes:

  • teaching and assessment in higher education, vocational training and schools 
  • education management, governance and partnerships
  • career development advisory for youths and young adults  

 

Junny is a pragmatic researcher whose reflective practice often leads to questions on how to improve student outcomes, strengthen graduate employability, and construct professional identity across cultures. Impressed by the enriching professional and life experiences in Australia and Asia, she strives to embed cultural agility development on pedagogies. Her PhD research was a contribution to the relevant scholarly literature, dedicated to helping university students construct intercultural competencies through social learning and inclusive pedagogies. 

 

Her career construction in Australia and South East Asia fuels the mission to help people work meaningfully and cooperate productively across cultures in a rapidly changing world. She advocates for respectful terms of engagement with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, making transformative education accessible through research, best practices and strategic collaborations.

 

Junny practises Hope-Action Theory in a self-study narrative framework in the process of rebuilding her career so as to have credibility and competency in helping others  who need  strategic support in redefining their professional identity.
