RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Modelling and Simulation of Complex Systems
Utilising discrete event simulation, agent-based and AI-based modelling to analyse the behaviour of dynamic, real-world systems for improved operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Uncertainty Quantification in Decision Support
Developing frameworks to quantify and manage uncertainty in predictive models, enabling more reliable decision-making in complex and evolving environments.
  • Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics
Applying data-driven techniques to forecast performance, detect anomalies, and optimise operations across sectors such as energy, transport, manufacturing, and healthcare.
  • Simulation-Based Policy and Scenario Planning
Designing simulation-based frameworks to explore “what-if” scenarios, informing evidence-based policy decisions and long-term strategic planning.
  • Renewable Energy and Biogas Systems
Modelling and optimisation of renewable energy systems, including biogas generation, to support sustainability, energy resilience, and decarbonisation efforts.
  • Computer Vision
Integrating computer vision techniques into modelling and analytics for applications across domains, including autonomous systems and infrastructure monitoring.
