As a public facing anthropologist Tanya is enthusiastic about sharing research insights with the community. In 2017 alone the Deakin Media Unit determined that she contributed to media stories about the fishing industry that reached over 12 and a half million people (12,642,225), at an equivalent advertising value (ASR) of ($396,268).
