I led a team of academic developers and multimedia resource specialists who worked collaboratively with the Faculty of Arts and Education to support teaching and learning initiatives aligned with Deakin's strategic teaching and learning priorities. As such I led and worked with his team to: align and realise Deakin's core educational objectives with work in the Faculty; manage Faculty driven course and unit development projects; contribute to Faculty Academic Programs and Governance quality assurance processes; and to design, develop and deliver capacity building programs for Academic staff. I was increasingly active in research that would broadly be categorised as the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning with research outputs aligned with topical issues in Higher Education.
