Dr Emily Tomlinson’s research centres on improving delirium care, with a particular focus on safer antipsychotic use, clinical decision-making, and nurse-led non-pharmacological strategies. She is committed to advancing evidence-based approaches that improve outcomes for older adults in hospital settings.

She is actively seeking partnerships with researchers, clinicians, policy makers, and healthcare organisations on projects aimed at improving the care of patients with delirium. She welcome opportunities to collaborate on research that advances evidence-based practice, supports safer care, and strengthens the role of nurses in delirium management. She is also available for Higher Degree by Research (HDR) supervision and interested in working with students passionate about delirium care.
