DrZehra Gulay Kavame Eroglu

Dr Kavame Eroglu is a Senior Lecturer in Comparative, Corporate, and Finance Law at Deakin Law School, where she leads the Protection from Economic Harm and Abuse of Corporate Power stream at the Centre for Law as Protection. Her research examines financial and sustainability disclosure, corporate governance, and financial regulation from a comparative perspective. Her work has been cited twice by US federal courts and has twice received the Society of Corporate Law Academics' Best Paper Award. She holds an SJD from Fordham University School of Law and an LLM from Columbia Law School, where she was later a Postdoctoral Research Scholar. She is Co-Chair of the Younger Comparativists Committee of the American Society of Comparative Law.
