- International financial standard setting and determinants of adoption of those standards at the national level
- Legal systems, varieties of capitalism, legal transplants, law and development, and the role of institutions
- Financial system, regulators and regulatory design in Australia: ASIC, APRA, RBA
- Fintech, financial inclusion, newfound ways of access to capital such as crowdfunding or alternative ways of credit rating
- Varying disclosure regimes (financial disclosure, sustainability disclosure, and alternative/newfound ways of disclosure - such as the use of blockchain technology for disclosure) for public and private companies across jurisdictions
