BIO

Dr Snehal Jadhav is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences/Faculty of Health at Deakin University. Her teaching expertise is in the area of food safety and food sciences. She is a mid-career researcher affiliated with Consumer Analytical Safety Sensory (CASS) Food Research Centre. Her current research is in the area of food safety, focussing on microbial food safety, active packaging and food omics. Dr Jadhav completed her PhD and Post-doctoral research at Swinburne University and was working on industry linked projects in the area of food safety with the dairy and meat industry in Victoria. She has also worked as a Research Officer at Metabolomics Australia in the Bio21 Institute at University of Melbourne during which she worked on NCRIS funded research in the area of microbial and cellular metabolomics.
