RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr Jadhav current research mainly focusses on solving industry-linked/industry-led issues in microbial food safety. She is currently developing rapid and smarter technologies for foodborne pathogen detection and control in complex food matrices. Her current research focuses on using advanced separation sciences such as gas-chromatography mass spectrometry platforms and omics data analyses pipelines to enable rapid detection of foodborne microbes. To enable control of pathogenic and spoilage microbes in food, her research focuses on the use of sustainable nanomaterials for delivering natural antimicrobials in foods.
