Knowledge Areas
David Tay is internationally recognized for his work in signal processing,
especially in wavelet and filter banks. More recently he has made substantial
contributions to the theory and applications in graph signal processing. Many
of his publications (over 100) appear in top outlets, e.g. IEEE. He is also
the principal or sole author in a substantial number of his publications. He
has also worked in industry projects like "Improving agricultural data
collections" and "Transitioning from a survey-based approach to agency and
industry-sourced data collections" for the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
