RESEARCH INTERESTS
Thusitha's research focus is under the banner of Critical Perspectives, with a mix of quantitative and qualitative approaches. He uses a combination of different theoretical methodologies and mixed methods. For example, the papers published in the Australian Accounting Review & Accounting Forum used a legitimacy framework and archival empirical methods while papers in AAAJ & FAM used a diffusion framework with mixed methods. Other papers he worked on combine corporate governance and corporate reporting. Additionally, Thusitha's research ties with the four pillars of the faculty research strategy. He is currently focusing on a cross-pillar approach between <IR> and capital market research.
