Thusitha's teaching philosophy is based on a balanced approach, where teaching & learning are combined with theoretical knowledge and practical application through the use of appropriate technologies, eventually leading to better employment. This philosophy can be implemented through imparting updated specialist knowledge, and practical applications using appropriate tools & techniques. This approach considers engaging teaching practice, different assessing methods, cultivating soft skills through industry & professional engagement, and creating new knowledge through research & dissemination to learners.
