Special Commendation Award from the RAM film festival 2024 Rovereto Archeologia Memorie (world heritage). The commendation was assigned by a jury of experts. The panel noted (translated from Italian): "The film makes First Nations Australians the leading voices and their holistic vision of the transformative process that has been underway for millennia in Australia. The films most valuable contribution is the proposal of an alternative model, which allows one to shift perspective and engage with an holistic understanding of an ecosystem of interactions between science, nature, society and people. From a technical point of view it is very successful and uses fulldome technology but without overdoing it. The film leaves as the main memory the importance of the story and only subsequently the role of technology. A wise use of new technologies that, in fact, makes the technology itself “disappear” in the eyes of the observer, to leave the focus on the message."
