DrWayne Read

Wayne primarily teaches across first-year career development and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs, where he mentors students as they build professional capabilities through real-world, industry-engaged projects and the development of career artefacts.

Earlier in his career, Wayne coordinated and taught core units across management, workplace conflict and negotiation, and marketing—often within large, high-enrolment courses ranging from 30 to 800 students. His teaching is recognised for its engaging delivery and strong student connection, supported by consistently positive student feedback and Faculty teaching awards. 

Wayne has designed authentic, practice-based assessments and played a key role in curriculum redevelopment initiatives that have contributed to improved student satisfaction and learning outcomes.
