    A Marie Curie Fellowship as a part of the EU FP7 DIVEFOR grant allowed me to be seconded to Forensics Pathways Ltd (UK) from Oct 2010 to Jan 2012 and XLAB (an SME in Slovenia) from Feb 2012 to Sep 2012. These two secondments provided opportunities for me to work directly in the industry and to acquire commercialisation and innovation skills, which enhanced the industrial relevance of my research and laid the foundation for me to form the bigger EU H2020 IDENTITY consortium.
