Dr Shaw is responsible for implementing the Year 3 and 4 curriculum for Deakin
medical students attached to the Geelong Hospital Clinical School. He is
deputy to Associate Professor Ross Carne. In addition, he is the convenor of
the Year 4, Semester 2 curriculum, and chairs the Selectives and Electives
Working Group (SEWG). Dr Shaw combines this role with a busy clinical practice
as a consultant neurologist for Barwon Health and the Geelong region, along
with clinical neuroscience research.
