TEACHING EXPERTISE
I currently teach Introduction to Property Development.
I am able and enjoy teaching a variety of finance and real estate topics including alternative investments, cryptocurrency, fintech, hedge funds, managed funds, equity investments, financial planning and property finance.
My teaching philosophy is in honing the principles of constructive alignment. By aligning our teaching methods, materials and assessments to learning outcomes, we are better able to provide an assurance of learning and more importantly, provide proper incentives and motivations for students to excel in their future workplace. Regarding learning outcomes, I believe these should be heavily influenced by the profession (e.g. through our Property and Real Estate Advisory board), professional bodies and academics. These outcomes also drive our initiatives to keep our courses relevant to industry and students.
