DrAnge Pestell

I currently teach into first, second and third year units at Deakin for the Bachelor of Environmental Science (Wildlife and Conservation Biology) and Bachlor of Environmental Science and Sustainability. My main teaching areas are ecology, bushfire management, and wildlife field studies, while I also have experience with Indigenous Engagement and Environmental Sustainability (undergraduate and masters level). My teaching practice is centred on building a safe and inclusive learning environment to ensure students from a diversity of backgrounds and abilities feel welcome and supported to meet their learning needs.
