RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research is focused on enhancing the reasoning capabilities of visual systems. In particular, my work involves understanding human behaviour in videos and applying this knowledge to solve real-world problems, such as detecting irregular human behaviour and predicting future human actions.
Of great interest to me is the application of computer vision methods to the health domain. With respect to that, I have been developing new techniques to identify General Movements (GM) in infants (up to the age of 5 months), which can be used to assist domain experts in screening high-risk infants for follow-up procedures.
