Dr Luba Sominsky is a Senior Resarch Fellow at Deakin and a Senior Scientist at Barwon health. She is a member of the Barwon Infant Study Investigator Group and Steering Committee, and a manager of the Barwon Infant Study biobank, with >100 biosamples per mother-infant dyad (n=1074).
Dr Sominsky is an internationally-recognised researcher in the field of psychoneuroimmunology, with more than 75 career publications. Her research investigates biological, psychosocial, environmental and lifestyle drivers of perinatal depression and its impact on child development.
