RESEARCH INTERESTS

Research interests: perinatal mental health, inflammation, placental biology, neurodevelopment.

My research focuses on neuroimmune, metabolic and psychosocial pathways in perinatal depression. This research aims to improve early identification and prevention of perinatal mental health challenges, to support child developmental outcomes and family wellbeing.
