BIO
Dr Alethea Jerebine is an Executive Dean of Health Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN) and the School of Health and Social Development at Deakin University.
Her research focuses on understanding the role of outdoor risky play in child development and wellbeing, the interconnections between physical activity, physical literacy, and outdoor play in childhood and adolescence, and how policy systems, culture, and community attitudes shape children’s play and movement behaviours.
