RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Advanced Materials for Energy Applications: Synthesis, formulation, and characterisation of next-generation electrolytes, deep eutectic solvents (DES), active electrode materials, and polymer composite films for thermal energy harvesting and battery technologies.
  • Air-Sensitive Processing & Air-Free Synthesis: Advanced laboratory operations utilizing inert-atmosphere controlled gloveboxes and fumehood Schlenk lines for moisture-sensitive and pyrophoric chemical handling.
  • Analytical Instrumentation & Material Profiling: Expert calibration, routine maintenance, and execution of advanced characterisation methods including Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Raman Spectroscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) for viscosity, and Optical Microscopy.
  • Electrochemical Characterisation: In-depth probing of materials via MTZ Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), Potentiostat operations, and Cyclic Voltammetry (CV).
  • Quantitative Chemical Analysis: High-precision testing workflows for moisture purity analysis and industrial effluent monitoring.
